Managerial idleness Who said that beauty is female? Certainly not the men who have discovered “Aquae Calidae”, the
first Roman baths under the Madonnina in Milan. Whether we are talking about quick treatments or a day spa before to
take off on holidays, these Roman baths have seen an onslaught by the stronger sex. Managers in team building sip aromatic
water and nibble on dried fruits, passing from the tiepidarium to the calidarium and to finish off with a deep water
and salt paste peeling exfoliation. The “businessotium” is one of the many features of this urban spa, inspired by the

The Path
The chaos of the town disappears as soon as the entrance door closes behind us .The one and only sound which greets the visitor and stays with you during your whole stay is the flowing of water.
Inside, everything has been carefully studied and realized using natural products and handicraft technologies. Even the wardrobe at the guests’ disposal is sober and elegant and recalls the ancient Rome.
The subdivision of spaces follows the one found in the ancient Roman thermal baths, and the result is elegant and essential.
The first impact of Aquae Calidae on the visitor is unique: simple, elegant and bright rooms prelude the abandonment of space and time through a rarefied atmosphere.
We first enter the “Tepidarium”, a large room where the temperature is confortable, with copper draperies, where we are going to spend most of the time, sipping flavoured water, chatting, toning up our body with “mother water”.
Afterwards, we enter the “Calidarium”, steam room, and then the “Frigidarium” with its falls of ice to be energetically rubbed on the skin for a particular vascular gym.
This is a path one can repeat or enrich with other treatments you like and usually ends in the shower room, in a dim light only broken by shafts of light on the running water.
At this point the delirium of the city is at last far away.

“Mani Vellutate” (hand treatment)
The treatment consists of a scrub with natural products. A gentle massage will make more efficacious the mask aimed toward the restoration of the softness we had when we were children.
Time required: 20 minutes.
“Piedi Alati”. (feet treatment)
The treatment consists of a scrub with natural products to remove dead cells. A gentle massage will soften the skin. The final part of the treatment will consist of a mud mask, which will eliminate the inflammation and will make your feet soft and light.
Time required: 40 minutes.
“Viso di Porcellana”.(face treatment)
The treatment is made up of an accurate initial cleansing with personal tonic and cleansing milk. The application of face-packs, aimed towards different purposes, will give the face the brightness stolen by daily stress and smog.

“Capelli di seta” (hear treatment)
The treatment consists of an application of exclusive products which will make the hair soft , bright and healthy. In order to make the treatment more efficacious, “Aquae Calidae” provides conditions of warm-damp temperature, ideal to let the hair absorb the nourishment necessary to its vitality.

“Body Mask” (body treatment)
The treatment combines the moisturizing and revitalizing protein of the milk and honey. The skin becomes smooth and soft.

“Mud Treatment”
The sea mud treatment is used to treat painful joints and arthrosis and relives pain and infiammation. Skin is remineralised and revitalised.

“Aquae Calidae Massage”
The “Aquae Calidae Massage is a treatment which brings together Western elements, as the manipulation on the muscular and circulatory system, and the Oriental concepts about the energy centres and the exchange of energy between the person who makes the massage and the person who receives it. Working on the principal energetic lines, it is possible to bring relief to the blocks which are the main source of discordance in ourselves.
