The Miramonti has been …
…a historical inn since 1932. After a 4-month conversion phase the Residence has
been upgraded into a truly upscale hotel – reopening on 18 April 2008. The
Miramonti boasts an idyllic location in an unusual setting with an abundance of unspoilt nature and breathtaking views of the spa and culture town of Merano. From the outside, its appearance seems to be typically Alpine but once inside the surprise
is complete… Clear interior lines, light filled atmosphere and warm natural colours afford this hotel its special charm. The combination of noble wood, glass and natural materials makes for very impressive interior design. Nevertheless, today as in the past, the focus is still very much on people, tranquillity and hospitality.
Culinary delights
The fine dining experience is a symbiosis of tradition and modernity. The offering combines traditional south Tyrolean cuisine with Mediterranean lightness. The dishes
mainly feature natural products from the region under the umbrella brand of South Tyrol.

The Panorama Restaurant is full of southern charm thanks to the Italian decor. The restaurant promises to be delight for all the senses thanks to the unique views afforded by the modern, all-round windows. The Miramonti Stube has an authentic feel to it coupled with considerable flair thanks
to its original wood panelling. Guests savour the delights of fine dining combined with impeccable service in a typical farmer's Inn.

The hotel sits high over the rooftops of Merano in the idyllic village of Hafling on the
sunny high plateau, Tschöggelberg. The surrounding spruce and deciduous forests,

The Miramonti offers breathtaking views of the valley with the spa town Merano, the
surrounding mountains and the romantic St. Kathrein Church dating back to the 15th
century. Hafling village, with its 600 souls, is also home to the Haflinger horses. It
can be reached via a broad panoramic road from Merano in 10 minutes by car.
